Lane B.

Upper Sandusky  |  Troop 6051

Project Beneficiary: Sufficient Grace Ministries

Lane supported Sufficient Grace Ministries, an organization that provides support for families experiencing the loss of an infant or young child. The ministry offers memory-making services, hospital and birth support, photography, and in-person assistance to grieving families.

Understanding that no family should have to leave the hospital with empty arms, volunteers at Sufficient Grace sew white teddy bears and fill them with stuffing to provide comfort. As part of his project, Lane helped fill the bear shells with stuffing, ensuring they were ready to be given to families in need. These bears have reached

families across multiple states and even other countries, offering solace and support during difficult times. Sufficient Grace Ministries provides in-person support throughout Ohio, with four branches, as well as in Michigan and Indiana. Lane’s efforts contributed to this mission, helping bring comfort to grieving families.

Kaden C.

Upper Sandusky  |  Troop 6777

Project Beneficiary: Emmanuel United Church of Christ

Kaden restored the cross for the church and applied water sealant to ensure it could remain outside permanently. As part of the project, Kaden and his team dug a hole and poured concrete with a support post, providing a solid foundation for the cross. They disassembled the cross, thoroughly cleaned it, and coated it with water sealant to prevent rotting. After completing the restoration, Kaden reassembled and securely installed the cross, preserving it for years to come.
